A & G CUSTOM GUN BELTS

ACCURATELY MEASURING for YOUR GUN BELT

Belt size is not your pant size or your waist size

Mismeasured Belts cannot be Returned

There are 2 ways to size your gun belt:

  • Measure using a belt you have
  • or use a cloth measuring tape.

If you carry an inside the waistband (IWB) holster you MUST measure with your hostler in place to get the proper belt sizing.

Measure a belt you have now from the end of the buckle to the hole you use most often to get the proper belt sizing.

How to properly size your belt using a belt you already have

If you’re unsure about measuring your gun belt, the first step is to measure the belt you have now. To do this, measure from the end of the buckle to the hole you most commonly use. Make sure to measure the belt while it’s lying flat and not stretched. Once you put the belt around your waist and it touches your zipper (or where your zipper would be) don’t add anything to the measurement – use that measurement!

How to properly size your belt when ordering using a cloth measuring tape

If you don’t have an existing belt to measure, don’t worry! You can still determine the right size by using a cloth measuring tape. Simply put the tape measure through the belt loops on your pants and pull it snugly, ensuring a comfortable fit.

If your measurements end up to be in between inch marks you should round it up to the next larger inch mark.

Make sure to pull the measuring tape kind of taunt – but not tight – around you and mark the measurement of where the tape meets your zipper.

Once you have your belt size, you can now order you new gun bet with confidence.
